Geoff started to learn piano at the age of five and eventually gave up trying to read music, preferring to learn by ear instead. By the age of 11, Geoff joined his first skiffle band. This didn't last long however, and at the age of 12 he taught himself to play guitar. From that time, Geoff went on to play in local bands throughout the 60's covering music from beetles covers to soul music and he was lucky enough to play support to many major 60's bands on the live music circuit.
During the 90's whilst playing in a band with Kim, Geoff switched to Bass Guitar, because good bass players were seemingly difficult to come by, and he has been playing bass ever since.
